Buffalo Chicken Dip with whipped cottage cheese

A classic dip that has been made healthier for you. I truly hope that you enjoy it and take the time to share it with your loved ones during your next gathering. Bonus if you made this using your left over slow cooker chicken diner & made your life easier twice!

5 minutes prep/15 minutes baking time/6-8 servings

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven at 400 degrees

  2. Using a food processor, blend smooth the cottage cheese, hot sauce, garlic& onion powder and salt

  3. Select an oven safe dish and incorporate the shredded cheese and shredded chicken together

  4. Pour the hot whipped cottage cheese over top the chicken and cheese & mix well

  5. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake for 15 to 20 minutes

  6. Enjoy with tortilla chips

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked shredded chicken

  • 1 cup of cottage cheese

  • 1/2 cup of hot sauce of your choice

  • 1/2 tsp of onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp of salt

  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheese, I used Colby jack + 1 tbsp to sprinkle on top

  • 1 green onion, sliced
