Slow cooker chicken dinner
This is a very simple and straightforward recipe to put together during a busy week. You have the option to enjoy it in many ways. Two of my favorites; delicious burrito bowl or as a tasty taco. You can be creative and make flavorful pizza using a large tortilla that can hold all the wonderful ingredients.
Steps
Rince the chicken breast, pat dry and lay inside the slow cooker
Pour the entire content of salsa over the chicken
Set the slow cooker on low for 4 hours
Take the chicken breast out, let cool off & shred it using a fork, it will pull apart easily
Put the chicken back inside the slow cooker & stir together until well combined

1 jar of salsa of your choice, I used a fire roasted tomato salsa

Burrito Bowl:
Start cooking your choice of rice at step #4, while the chicken is cooling off. Prepare all of your toppings in separate bowls or lay all of the options on a big cutting board. This makes it easy for your family to decide what they would like to put inside their burrito bowl.

Black or Kidney beans
Guacamole or sliced avocados
Salsa or chopped tomatoes
Corn or corn salsa
Shredded cheese, I like to add 1/4 tsp of paprika to 1 cup of shredded cheese to add flavors
Fresh cilantro
Shredded lettuce or spinach
Chopped bell peppers, sliced pepperoncini, jalapenos or banana peppers,
Lime juice, spicey mayo or avocado lime dressing
Salsa, sour cream or taco bell mild sauce
